Urdu Radio show and Fridays shows are running as usaul on radio station. Lots of great events happen in last few weeks. Dr Ghazi Sahaab was out of country for last few days. Cab Driver killed over an $8 fare?

I heard about this incident on radio talk show. Today I read about it in a newspaper, Red Eye. It is very petrifying story of a cab driver named Haroon Paryani. He was 61 years of age and was driving cab for almost 35 years. A passenger named Micheal L. Jackson rides in his cab. They got into an argument over $8 dollar fare. Micheal L. Jackson and Haroon Paryani got into a physical fight. Then Jackson allegedly got in Paryani's cab and drive over him couple of times. An eye witness saw it happening. Paryani, a married father of four, died of heart lacerations apparently cause by massive rib fractures.

Quoting from newspaper Red Eye,

"Mujahid Ghazi, Spokesman for the Paryani family, said he hopes justice is done in the Jackson case, pointing out that it is second violent death of a Pakistani immigrant in as many years."

Dr Ghazi told about the horrifying murder of cab driver Haroon Fayani. Fayani was 61 years of age and driving cab for almost 35 years. He had a argue with some person, who deliberatly satbbed him and then run over his own cab on him. The person, who killed cab driver Fayani, is pleading in court by saying that he was drunk at the moment of incident. It is petrifying that killers like these plead in court by saying false standing.

Todays show was special in a sense that it was one hour show. The other hour show was Youth Talk, which airs every months first week.

Last week a very nice and well organize Eid Milan dinner was arranged by ICNA in Islamic Foundation of Villa Park.

Karachi's Corresponding Caller - Rauf Tabani told about his activities. He went to Lahore because of Tanzania's Presidents Advisor wants to see Lahore. They had a wonderfull time there. He told that Karachi's stock market is moving in steady manner. Market is rising every day.

Some callers told that Sharya Board is working very poorly. They are processing applications for certification of Zabiha Halal very slowly.

Ali Bhoughti and Salman Aftab arranged a call to Pakistan to talk to Nawab Akbar Bhougti. Nawab Akbar Bhougti and Dr Ghazi talked about the current situationin Baluchistan.

Dr Mujahid Ghazi said that he attended the fundraiser of Pakistan Physician Society in Villa Park. He also said that they raised $60 thousand dollars at the event. Dr Shabir is the president of Pakistan Physician Society.

Dr Ghazi recevied an email from Ahmed Ali about the article written by Prof Stanley of UCLA university. The topic of his article was that, "Quiad Azam belive in democracy, how did Pakistan slip into dictatorship". Dr Ghazi read few excerpts from the article.

Dr Ghazi told about the Eid Milan dinner of ICNA, which will be going to held in Islamic Foundation in Villa Park. The date of the event is 5 Feburary at 6:00pm. The most important thing about the event us that they are going to educate the people about Hajj.

His Grandson was also a prophet, whose name is Hazrat Yaqoob(AS). He was the prophet who helped in the building of Khana-e-Kabba. Now people perform Hajj in the premises of Khana-e-Kabba. Hazrat Ibrahim(AS) sacrificed his son, Hazrat Ismail(AS), to fulfill the will of Allah. But when he was doing that Allah like liked his act and send a sheep to sacrifice instead of his son. This is the reason why every muslim now performs sacrifice act on Eid ul Adha to remember that day.

He also said that Mayor of Chicago Daley and Ambassader of Pakistan Jahengir Karamat were there at the event. Mayor Daley acknowlegde the fact that Pakistani community is taking a active part in the making of better chicago.

Jibran and Zeeshan did a fabulous skit in the todays program. This skit was about the role of politicians, singers, police and people in Pakistan. The performance of both Jibran and Zeeshan was very remarkable.

The moving relationship process between India and Pakistan is once again slowed down. Karachi Stock market is record high for the last week. Mr Altaf Hussain is running office for his party from England. Mr Tabani said that whatever he says is his opinion based on his information and resources.

Caller - Zeeshan told about the opening ceremony of Pakistan General Consulate in Chicago. Zeeshan, Hassan, Jibran and Sadya were there at the event to represent ABN. Chicago's Mayor Richard Daley and Pakistani Ambassader Jahengir Karamat were also there. He also said that they talked to Mayor Daley about the activities of ABN in chicago. Dr Ghazi gave condolences to two families, which was because of the death of Ejaz Haider and Saleem Maghda. Saleem Maghda died in the car accident.

Dr Ghazi had a guest at the show, Afrado Darme(sorry for spelling), who lost his brother and his family in the Tsunami disaster. Luckly his mother survive the tragedy. Mr afrado is originally from Baandaa'say(sorry for spelling), Indoneasia. He is studying law at Northwestern university. Mr Afrado shared his thoughts and sorrow about the Tsunami disaster. Dr Ghazi played a recording from the fundraiser dinner of Midwest Business Alliance for the Tsunami relief. Focus foundation was also there and participated in the effort.

ICNA raised $650,000 dollars for the Tsunami victims. They are trying to raise more funds for the Tsunami victims and targeting to raise $1 Million for the victims.

Where many organizations are collecting and raising funds for the Tsunami victims. There is also some people who are doing a child trafficking business. These people are declaring foster kids as their own. Now organizations and officials known the issue. And they are now more cautious on the issue.

Caller - Zia Qureshi told that they have a approval for building a masjid, which MEC was looking forward to get. They have a one year time frame to start the contruction of the masjid. He ask from the listeners of the show and people, who plegde for it, to come forward and take part in it.

Caller - Ruaf Tabani(Owner of Aero Asia Airline) told that dinner in Wedding ceremonies is prohibited by law now in karachi. Groom and close relative of groom will be arrested if found to be breaking the law. Ruaf Chappel (Developer and Constructor) was with Rauf Tabani, he told about the construction work going around Gwadar Port and surrounding area. Developers are taking interest in buying property there in Gwadar. Rauf Chappel also said that government should make Gwadar a free Port.
Mr Tabani said that about 300 Chinese engineers are working on to build and update Gwadar Port. After the construction of this port, the import and export will get a uplift around the region.
Mr Abid(Stock Expert) was also with Rauf Tabani at that time, he said that karachi stock market raised 10%. And investor are very satisfied and taking interest in progressing stock market. He also said that companies lending rates are 2% to 3% now as compare to 16%-18%. PCT trading market is good to trade in to. According Mr Abid, oils and petroleum stocks are good to buy now.

Dr Ghazi and his working group said there condolences to family of Dr Mushtaq.

Caller - Rauf Tabani told about the strong position of rupee against dollar. He said that General Pervaiz Musharaf will not withdraw from his army post until 2007. He also said his condolences to the Tsunami disaster. Earth breakup upto 5 km beneath the ocean surface and waves were roaring to 4500 km/hr at that time in the ocean.

Dr. Ghazi told about the bypass heart surgery of chicagos singer Shazad Ahmed. He is also known as Shazad of Chicago or Rafi Shazad. He is at Good Sam Hospital. Dr Ghazi asked for prayers for him.

He also told that 24 december is the birthday of Mohammad Rafi, who is a legendary singer of Indian Film industary.

Presenters talked about the Earthquake victims of Tsnami. Many Asian countries, which are Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Burma, India, SriLanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Somalia, Kenya, Tanzania and Seyschelles, were hit by Earthquake disaster. They also said, we should all help in need of the people of the disaster areas. We should donate to humanitarian organizations. Such can be make to the following organizations;

The ninty names of Allah was played for the prayers of disaster victims. So far 120,000 dead bodies have found in the disaster area. Show presenters shared their thoughts on victims of this disaster. One host said that he saw about hundred pictures of this tragedy on the internet at yahoo. One host also shared a story that he read on the groups of msn online. He said, Some tourist went to this small restaurant, whose owner lives at the backside of his restaurant, the day before this tragedy. When they went there after this tragedy, they said the whola place was gone from the ground.

The host also shared happening of 2004. They called it highlights of 2004.
